Breakfast Burritos
Makes 2 servings:

whole egg
1/4 c. Great Value Egg Whites
2 T 1% milk
1/2 t. Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Salt-less Seasoning (or flavor of your choice)
1/2 oz. Great Value Shredded Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese

Mission's Carb Balance Flour Tortilla
Optional: 1 T. Salsa

  • Scramble together the whole egg and egg white along with Mrs. Dash of choice & milk.
  • Spray a small skillet with Great Value Olive Oil Cooking Spray and heat on top of stove.
  • Heat 1 Turkey Sausage Patty in microwave for 1 minute.
  • While Turkey Sausage is heating pour egg mixture into heated skillet (at this point I turn the heat off from under the skillet) and beginning to scramble the eggs until completely cooked.
  • When Turkey Sausage is finished take out of microwave and cut into smaller than bite size pieces.
  • Remove the skillet from the burner and if you have a glass top stove (if not use a hot griddle) place 1 tortilla at a time onto hot burner for about 15 seconds.
  • Using tongs, so you do not burn your fingers, and heat the other side for about 15 seconds.
  • When both sides are heated place onto plate and heat the other tortilla.
To assemble Breakfast Burritos
  • sprinkle half of the cheese in the middle length of the tortilla, top with half of the sausage then finish off with half of the scrambled eggs.
Fold and enjoy!

* you would use 2 whole eggs if not using egg whites
